Employees of Hemlock Semiconductor have a long history of supporting the
annual United Way campaign. In 2006, Hemlock Semiconductor employees exceeded
the goal by 131% in just 12 days.

Our contributions philosophy
Hemlock Semiconductor is committed to supporting local community activities
or projects with a specific focus on Saginaw County. Our goal of being a good
corporate citizen in the Saginaw Valley will be met by financially
supporting activities and initiatives that will benefit the local region.
Contributions will primarily be directed toward the following:

Non-profit organizations supporting those in need within the
community.

Educational needs, with a strong emphasis on local schools improving the
educational process primarily in the areas of math, science, and the skilled
trades.

Initiatives that support economic development or improve the quality of
life within our local communities.
