Exceeding goals to make a big difference
Hemlock Semiconductor employees have supported United Way for many
years. Now, more than at any previous time, we know how fortunate we are
to have jobs in a rapidly growing industry when so many in our community are
struggling. Giving back to the community through contributions to United
Way is one way that employees and our company can help provide support for
people that need it, and improve the quality of life in our region.
In 2009, employees exceeded the company goal by 101 percent, pledging a
total of $135,820.18.
