Linda Weigold, sales and supply chain coordinator for Hemlock Semiconductor Group, was recently featured in The Detroit Free Press article “Working Mothers of the Year.”

In October, Weigold was recognized at the Working Mother magazine 100 Best Companies Gala Awards Dinner. A Hemlock, Michigan native and single mother of four, she was selected as the Working Mother of the Year on behalf of Dow Corning. She received this honor based on peer nominations in all three award criteria categories: inspiration, mentorship and volunteerism.

Dow Corning also was named one of the 2011 Working Mother 100 Best Companies. The corporation was recognized for its Working Parents Support Network, the Women Enriched Network, lactation rooms and parental leave policies including paid maternity and paternity leaves, in addition to paid time off for adoptive parents.
