Hemlock Semiconductor Awarded United Way Community Involvement Award
Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation was acknowledged by the United Way of
Saginaw County at the 2011 LIVE UNITED Community Awards Breakfast on Thursday,
April 28 by receiving the Lloyd J. Yeo Community Involvement Award.
The reception honored individual volunteers and various community
organizations for their outstanding commitment to the community and the United
Way of Saginaw County. The Lloyd J. Yeo Community Involvement Award is an honor
that is given to a business who continually strives to create a culture of
caring in the workplace and whose employees are driven to make a positive
impact.
"It is exciting to join a team that shows a high level of passion and a
commitment for community outreach for organizations such as the United
Way," said David Rengering, Hemlock Semiconductor Site Manager.
