Primary Responsibilities

Andrew Laney leads HSC’s manufacturing organization, overseeing operations across multiple production assets. He is responsible for driving performance in safety, quality, reliability, and cost, with a focus on disciplined execution, operational excellence, and advancing manufacturing capabilities through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Experience and Expertise

Andrew joined HSC as Vice President of Manufacturing in June 2026, bringing more than 18 years of global experience in manufacturing, operations, and business transformation with Dow. Prior to HSC, Andrew served as Site Director for Dow’s Silicones Operations in Barry, Wales, where he was accountable for safety, operational performance, and cost efficiency. Previously, he held the role of Manufacturing Director for Dow’s Polyurethane Systems assets in North America. He began his career in research and development with Dow in Midland, Michigan, in 2007.
