As a long-time member of HSC’s executive leadership team, Ault helped lead the organization through multiple major start-ups and expansions at the Hemlock site. In his role at HSC, Ault focused on improving safety and efficiency in production through technical expertise. Beyond his professional contributions, Ault is deeply engaged in the community, currently serving on the board of directors of the Saginaw Community Foundation, as past board president of the Midland County Food Assistance Network, serving for many years on community impact panels with United Way of Midland County, in leadership roles in his church, and a variety of other volunteer activities in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

“After more than 35 years in manufacturing, including nearly two decades at Hemlock Semiconductor, I’m incredibly grateful for the people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside,” said Ault. “Everything we’ve accomplished has been rooted in a shared commitment to safety and teamwork. I’m confident in the strength of this team to carry that legacy forward. It’s been an honor to be part of this organization and this community, and I look forward to the next chapter with deep appreciation for my time at Hemlock Semiconductor.”

Prior to his career at HSC, Ault worked in process engineering at Dow Corning’s Carrollton site before holding several technical and manufacturing leadership roles at the company. He also served as a program manager in Dow Corning’s enterprise portfolio management office, where he improved business processes and data accuracy.

“Andy’s impact on Hemlock Semiconductor has been immeasurable,” said AB Ghosh, chairman and CEO of Hemlock Semiconductor and senior vice president and general manager, Corning Solar. “He has been a steady, trusted and inspiring leader whose commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork helped guide our manufacturing operations through growth and change. We’re grateful for his many contributions and wish him all the best in retirement.”
