Building Resilience with Hybrid, Safe Workplace Option

Hemlock Semiconductor Awards Grant to CMURC

Entrepreneurs, professionals and corporations around the Great Lakes Bay Region will have access to a hybrid, safe workplace option at Central Michigan University Research Corporation (CMURC), courtesy of the Hemlock Semiconductor Community and Regional Empowerment (CARE) Fund at the Midland Area Community Foundation.

The grant will make it easier for flex workers to return to work with a new hardware and software solution designed to offer both in person and virtual resources in CMURC’s Innovation Room. This enables and supports businesses to get their teams back into a safe, collaborative workplace, and to return to the level of productivity they had prior to the start of the pandemic.

“With over 256 members across the region connectivity is the key,” said CMURC President + CEO Erin Strang. “The Innovation Room is exclusive to Midland and was designed to bring a unique experience with full video and audio capabilities suited for high and low-capacity hybrid meetings.”

CMURC is a professional and diverse coworking space with locations in Bay City, Midland, Mount Pleasant and Saginaw. It is ideal for those working remotely, corporations needing offsite meeting space, professionals seeking engagement in the community and entrepreneurs looking to collaborate. CMURC is committed to Inclusive Entrepreneurship and holds quarterly Impact Days where individuals can learn and connect. The next Impact Day is Aug. 25 at CMURC Midland.

Those looking for cowork space solutions in the Great Lakes Bay Region can find more information, book a tour and register for free cowork days at https://cmurc.com.
